Its Segregation. But I have no idea. I am married to a black man and Im a white female in Alabama. On of the most racist states. We get it mostly from the white guys and the black females. I don't see why who I am with is anyones concern but mine. It doesn't affect anyones life but me and my hubby. I have heard it is a little better in the north. 0 but not sure bout that) Katie Hawk and loveless that is the most retarded racist thing I have heard lately. No wonder you are LOVELESS!! People like you are the ones that keep this going.
Racism is still here in USA. Some black people still hate white people. Some white people still hate black people. It's the matter of stereotyping. Today have a bigger racism problem with us against illegal mexican immigrants and annoying somalis moving in USA. They are keeping stealing legal American-born citizens' hard-finding jobs (over 70 million jobs lost to them) especially during 2nd economical crisis since Great Depression and we don't like them taking advantage of government money like welfare and not paying taxes. We worked hard to pay taxes and want them to go to legal American-born citizens not people who are new to our countries. I always heard that people kept complaining about unemployed black women who won't stop breeding so she can use all of her kids as extra free money paid from the gov't which multiplies for each child born. They are forced to be sterilized or use 7-yr implanted birth control if they still refuse to get job and keep breeding.
I think it all comes down to what parents are teaching their children. Sadly, I think there will always be racism, prejudice, and judgment in this world because it is passed down from parent to child. It kills me when people say they are racist because of experiences that they have had with a race. So does that mean that if you are a white man and you have ';bad experiences'; with other white men that you hate your own race? I doubt it. Some people are just to small minded and judgmental to be accepting.
I don't know what these people are talking about nor do I care

New Jersey to be exact and here no body gives a damn who dates who I dated a few white guys (ok I dated a lot of white guys) And race never came up..I like hanging out with them they like to hang out with me They bring me home to meet their families and I do the same..no one cares





The same thing applies with living in New York..(since Jersey %26amp; NY are so close) People in NY don't give a damn either...I just meet a nice Italian guy a few months ago and we have been having tons of fun in the city going to movies and riding our bikes around central park...very nice guy who I plan to meet up with tomorrow(were going salsa dancing!!!!)





Race shouldn't matter well it doesn't matter where I am from..maybe its because the east coast rules in every shape and form (im 20 BTW if that means anything)
that's just the way it is unfortunately. you just have to live your life and ignore everyone who tries to bring you down. there will always be someone out there who is being a hater no matter who you are dating or married to. you can't control their actions, you can only control yours.
I dont think its over at all....people have always had problems with that.....and i feel thats its wrong to think that......you should be able to marry or be with anyone you want and it shouldnt be based on race......alot of people even say that interracial couples are in the same place as gay marriage......and just like gay marriage....their is nothing wrong with two members of the same sex being allowed in a relationship. Interracial couples should get the same respect as regular couples.......
some people are against it because they are Ignorant, and /or the simple fact that they was not raised that way.Its unfortunate that Ignorant people are so close minded,(they are the ones missing out,oh well) Im not saying that I get around like tupac(rip),but I have dated every ethnicity and each of the women liked me the same, so if you know of someone that's ignorant, just avoid them, and don't waste your time dealing with them..
it isn't my business unless someone makes it my business.

there is nothing wrong with it im as white as they come and my hubby is mexican yes we get funny looks walking through the store my daddy wont even meet him i have a little brother that's 1/2 black and a niece that's the same my other sisters hubby is creole they have 2 kids that are beautiful if u love someone go for it and don't let any one tell u ur wrong just be u and love who u want
there's the saying: ';you can't teach an old dog new tricks';... and it kinda applies in many communities... its no surprise that some people are racists that way, but personally, i find racists in older generation communities, much more so than in the younger generation...





stay positive, good things will come around eventually... but it is sad to know, that a person can only be named 'hero' if he literally gave his life for his belief... hence my hero, Martin Luther King Jr.

When i lived in Idaho, with my white mom and my black dad, our neighbors hated us, and actually started our house of fire twice, and left burning crosses in our yard. People really need to get over it!!!!!!
it's ignorance. pure and simple. perople are afraid of what they do not understand...this upsets me a lot, actually.





i have this argument very often with family members, and it usually ends in hurt feelings. if you are in a situation where you feel you are being judged for your choice, you have my support.
first of all it's segregation and second people are still alive that grew up in the area of integration and segregation so their children and grandchildren are going to be affected by it for quite some time
The truth is: the majority of people are OK with it. There are still a few closed minded people that still fear the unknown, or fear what they still believe as unnatural,, but they are still living in the 50's
Because it makes you look bad although i see nothing wrong with it. The bigger problem is if you have kids they are not entirely accepted by either race and usually the kids lean towards the blacks.
No idea. We're in Toronto, I'm 25 and from Northern Europe. My GF is Jamaican born. No one ever said us anything; but I see people looking at us, which I think is cool, because we're like a walking billboard for United Colors of Benetton :)
Nothing is wrong with it if they want to be together. You mean ';segregation'; is over. But people are also entitled to their views and opinions, no matter how unpopular.

For me if it was just dating I personally could care less but when I see white women having children with black men and those children look physically black while at the same time there are no white children being born into these relationships and those black looking children then grow up calling themselves black or African American then I take issue. There's nothing wrong with being black or African American but white people are not black we are not African Americans we are white we are European Americans.
It just is you should know better. I bet your not even a black girl. Anyways Its a form of genocide.
