Difficult for couples to talk about sex?

Why is it so difficult for couples to talk about sex?

What about parents and their children? What would make it easier for people to talk about sex (e.g., times, places, resources, etc.)?

I would just like some different viewpoints on this matter.Difficult for couples to talk about sex?
I personally dont find it hard to talk with my bf about sex. If you really love someone and trust them it shouldnt be to hard. Plus if you want to try something new its easier to talk about itand you can make the experience better :)

Parents i dont even talk to them about it mainly coz i dont want them to know what i do and my dad already says enough about contraception i think its coz adults dont treat us as adults and think we wuldnt hav safe sex etc and think we r stupid and treat us that way. grrrr

With my friends im open like i wuldnt tell them intimate details as that is between me %26amp; my bf but we talk bout it.Difficult for couples to talk about sex?
I am in a relationship and have a kid, and I find it easy to talk about sex with them both. My kid is only eight, so the material now is not that involved, obviously, but I still am comfortable.
to be honest, when I'm in a relationship, I find it very easy to talk about sex with my mate.

with close friends it is easy too.

with friends, it's a bit awkward, but it's not like I'm dying of humiliation.

and with parents, it's too awkward to believe.

but this is the view of a fairly open teenager,

so it depends who you are, and where you stand with your openess.
I do not have a problem talking about sex with my husband or my children. You have to have good communication with each other. Your children have to be comfortable talking to you about things.
